For the first time in my adult life, I find myself going into a 4 month period without a stable job or schoolwork that demands my full presence. And the weird thing is, I don't feel lost at all. I'm confident in my career prospects and I'm ready to spend a little bit of time just portfolio building and taking the time to give myself my own shot. I really want to share and document this time of my life, because I feel like for the first time ever, I'm giving myself my own time. I've got a few months of rent saved up, and I'm ready to devote time to my own projects for once.
And here's my big one: the 52 Week Video Challenge. My list is inspired and/or stolen from Dogwood Photography's 52 Week photo challenge, and adapted for video. I'll be trying to do every single challenge in 2018. You can follow along on what I'm doing here, because this will give you a sneak preview on what the next video will be. I'm only going to reveal the prompt on YouTube, at the end of the video. If you want to try one or two, I'll start doing features and shout outs if/when you send them to me!
